Looking at the RFL guidelines, gouging carries a E-F grade penalty, so 4 game ban upwards potentially.

He gouged as far as I could tell. Definitely looked like he left the fingers in the eye rather than pulling his hand away.

The best team won, can't have any complaints. Didn't see the Hock incident from the stand but fully support any ban he receives for eye gouging, no defending that. Will have to watch it again to see that and the other incidents mentioned. A lot of uncharacteristic mistakes by us, such as Hansen dropping the ball for one of wire's tries, and we were punished for them.

Wether he played at his head or not is irrelevant , you are not allowed to play at the ball to prevent a try , it should have been a penalty after the conversion , wouldn't have affected the result , but consistency is required

If it was he deserves a legnthy ban but it all comes down to whether he did it deliberately.
