| Quote: J20 "Difference being Saints made these plans clear to the RFL quite early, Wakey it's only been mouted and said will discuss it now. Saints have maintained a top 2 side throughout and continue to bring through regular youth into the first team whilst getting strong crowds. Saints ground is currently one negative in a pretty impressive bid, Newmarket was sounding like the entire strong point of Wakefields bid. They'd find it pretty hard to act like they meant to move to Barnsley all along!'"
and more importantly than all of the above they would never kick st helens out anyway.

There is an estate of maybe 150 houses situated opposite J32 (Lee Way, Merefield Way etc). Still, I don't think there will be too many objectors.

| Quote: LewisJ23 "Wakefield's attendences aren't very high as it is, the club is becoming less and less cared about with each year that goes by. How do I know this ? I work there every day and live very close. A groundshare wouldn't work because quite simply [iyou wouldn't get the fans over to Oakwell every 2 weeks[/i, crowds would drop dramatically.'"
I would expect crowds to increase given the whingeing that goes on from fans of other clubs about not going to watch their team against Wakefield due to Belle Vue being crap.
Surely they would turn up in their droves to a ground with four covered stands.
Indeed Hull KR would probably bring 500,000 instead of their usual 250,000

Wakefield's Plan B has been in existence for over a year, and whilst it has never been made puiblic, who's to know that it hasn't already been shared with the RFL?

| Quote: number 6 "interesting to see castlefords average attendance last season, im sure there was a few games where only 5-6 thousand attended, 10 miles his hardly a day trip now is it? think you are just hoping a praying for that!'"
A lot of our fixtures were altered.
Our first two home games - usually the biggest attended games of the season purely because it's the new season - were both on Sky on Saturday evenings. Additionally, these were games against Warrington and Hull KR, usually two of the biggest followings brought to games.
Catalans was moved to a TUESDAY night, whereby the majority of season ticket holders, including myself, could not make it due to various reasons.
Bradford at home was moved to an earlier kick-off (11:30am on a Sunday!) due to the World Cup game, which meant that a lot of Cas and Bradford fans stopped at home.
Leeds at home was also on Sky, again, another game where the crowd would have been higher due to it being a derby.

And considering they were there and built when the OPP application went in three years ago, you'd have thought they would have done it then. Pardon my ignorance on the matter - don't really know much about planning - but I don't think objections count much for full PP anyway do they?

I'm not sure a London based solo artist concert is the answer here!

| How much would it cost to rent a stadium out, i.e. Oakwell, and what would happen if Barnsley refused?

| Do we know where Wakefield will play should they not got a SL license then? Will they continue with the Oakwell plan (if Sheffield Eagles can afford to play at Bramall Lane, then it can't be that much out of the question)? Would a ground share at Featherstone/Dewsbury/Batley/Castleford be the other options, considering they're only 5-8 miles away? Which one would be the preference?

The whole scheme is approved. People can object to the details ie Windows overlooking gardens, design details , type of brick finish etc - you know, the sort of thing anybody would object to at the top of a former pit stack in GH

cas v hull fc wan't on sky, also i believe our away support out numbered your home support on a sunday afternoon, this was mentioned on your own forum by your own fans, if your town bleeds rl then why doesn't the population support them, if you're going to accuse someone of being an idiot, try not to be a bigger one first!
