as has been pointed out elsewhere.....that is the Spanish Soccer jersey. This is a rugby forum.....we don't have a ladies section, but you are more than welcome to discuss ladies fashion on the other sports board

At least we are talking about a club in the top flight of Rugby League and not another attempt to pi55 of the AFL.....maybe

| hmm being in the top flight, and being top flight are two very different things. We got more fans to Jim Beam Cup games in Perth than Harlequins get to SL, haha. 15k at last years Perth NRL game, when was the last time Quins got 15k? Even without a team and being in AFL heartland WARL is stronger than Quins RL. Shows what a joke the London experiment is.

Experiment?
I'd say being formed in 1994 and disbanded in 1997 and then reformed in 2008 is hardly a statistic to be proud of...
You actually got 15,000 people to watch a game.....well done.......shame it was a game that didn't feature a "home" team.
You get more fans to the JB cup than Quins RL.....really? Published attendance figures anywhere to be seen? seriously...did you average more than Quins RL in 2010?
As for a joke.......WHEN YOU FAIL AGAIN in Western Australia then the NRL will realise that if it really wants to be taken as a truly international sport, then the current 4 nations and world cup holders deserve more than one team...stop fretting over the kicking clowns of AFL...grow the game where it needs it...... where 65% of your Toyota Cup Players come from....not an AFL heartlandicon_biggrin.gif

1. 65% of ALL Toyota cup players are NON Australian...not a good stat!
2. Fine. We have the procedures in place and the foundations are forming nicely..when we get in, we will survive.
3. Current World cup and 4 nations champs......benji is the best player on the globe and he hasn't glassed anyone recently, hit his wife/partner/girlfriend or been founf dazed after falling out of his own flat
The NRL is too preoccupied with the AFL/Rah Rahs to see where its true strength lies...their loss.

1. 65% of ALL Toyota cup players are NON Australian...not a good stat! err no 65% have a different heritage background. The vast majority of players playing in the SG Ball and Toyota cup were born in Australia, but come from polynesian parentage ,making them eligible to play for another country (or Australia). Not the same thing!
2. Fine. We have the procedures in place and the foundations are forming nicely..when we get in, we will survive.
what? The NZRL remain a basket case and there is zero bid development in NZ
3. Current World cup and 4 nations champs......benji is the best player on the globe and he hasn't glassed anyone recently, hit his wife/partner/girlfriend or been founf dazed after falling out of his own flat
I have no issue with you JB....or the western bid, but the NRL does seem to be run by people that my club wouldn't employ..and that really is saying something

They will go where the $'s are from TV. 12 months ago we didn't have a chance, clubs said no expansion, Gallop kept calling us a dot on the map. In the last 12 months that has attitude has turned around 180 degrees to us being favourites for expansion. The only reason I can see is that TV talks have started behind closed doors and the live timeslot WA offers is seen as a lucrative bargaining chip for the next TV rights. Its why I can see another Q'land team getting in ahead of the Bears, even though the Bears bid is by far the strongest.
I have said all along that some of the $'s the NRL gets from NZTV should be being used to develop Wellington and Christchurch RL and help sort out the NZRL structure. Maybe then there would be a fanbase clamouring for a side and NZTV companies willing to pay more for it.
ps you've changed your tune!
