i think the Hull daily mail was appauling today showing shot by shot of the incident in 4 different pics. Why show it? What do people get from seeing how it happend. I agree with bbc1 breakfast when they said is too horrific to show. Give the man some respect

I disagree, I don't see anything wrong with showing it.

When players get smashed cheekbones you see a million camera angles of the clash that caused it and pics in papers of players with closed eyes (like Morley's when he banged heads with O'Carroll) - it's no more distasteful than that IMO.

Injuries happen in sport and they get reported when they're bad ones. I don't think it's disrespectful to be honest.

Senior is blameless, but I bet he feels pretty bad anyway. Having done something similar I know how that sort of break feels - however, the way Chev just looks at it and seems mildly inconvenienced is incredible! And then acknowledging the crowd! That is one hard fella there, one real hard man. When I did mine I screamed like a girl and couldn't look down at it (I'd heard the crack and felt the bottom half of my leg swing round so I knew exactly what had happened) and just waited for the ambulance with the gas and air and did my best not to cry. Good luck Chev, hope you recover fully.

If you haven't seen something - how are you qualified to comment? Senior's tackle was 100% regular. If anything it wasn't even aggressive but technical. It was completely accidental.

Compared with the diving and conning by billionaire footballers, Senior's genuine concern, both fans chanting Chev's name and Chev sitting up applauding them reminded me that I have been blessed to have grown up watching and playing the greatest game.
