| Quote: Darkheart "Tomkins will be world class, I disagree with the hard hitting bit though. Leuluai get's shrugged off alot as does Tomkins. I remember Matt King laughing at him as he swatted him off in the semi-final.'"
'Hard Hitting' was going a little far on Tomkins i reckon. He's more of a pesty defender that just sticks to people like glue and snaps away at their ankles like a jack russell. The miss on King came from O'Loughlin firing out of the line and leaving Tomkins in no mans land. His defence has been superb for the large part and is tracking back on kicks leaves us looking like we've got 2 fullbacks at times.
As for Leuluai's defence he puts in some huge hits but i agree he falls off a few. He's still one of the better defensive halfs in superleague though and is improving in that department all the time.

| WRT those opposition fans be-littling Sinfield last night he was named Leeds player of the year at our awards ceremony.
Fully deserved it was too. So, as the best player from the league's best team I think his inclusion in the dream team is meritorious.

That doesn't prove anything. Hall, Senior, Peacock have all had a better season then Sinfield.

Senior and JP weren't in the top 3.

| Pretty dissapointed from a Cas fans point of view not to see Rangi Chase in there.
Credit to young Tomkins though... young, talented british player!

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

He picks up the odd piece of silverware every now and then, unlike Todd Flanders.

| Quote: Darkheart "and he was still 2nd in SL amongst halfbacks for tries and assists combined.'"
That's an interesting fact, but after checking, i dont think its quite right.
Danny Orr has 4 tries and 24 assists, Dobson has 11 tries and 15 assists, which both beat Mylers 11 tries and 15 assists.
Not checked many scrum halfs and not even looked at stand offs, think you'll probably find Dorn and Pryce beat him too.
Although I would be first to say stats only tell half the story though.

Myler has missed 7 games, so production when he's played has far outweighed anybody else.
