Why can't Lock Lane or other amateur clubs provide players?
Can you be confident that this NRL fringe player at best, actually knows who and where Castleford is and really will be a club man?
Anyway at least people will understand why we can't produce players in this country and where money is being wasted.
Don't think he will make Cas any better than a team making up the numbers when the SL 8's start |

You do realise Cas have a squad of 34, 26 of which are players eligible to play for British nations. Moreover, 15 of those came from Castleford's academy, plus Crooks and Patrick who are from this area. 11 of those have played a first team SL game with Westerman, Gill, Million and Sheehan the young kids so far not to.
Your comment would have more legs if you didn't pick on one of the sides outside of Wigan, Saints and Leeds who has a vested interested in youth progression and a credible record at doing so. |

Indeed, Patrick spent more time in the Castleford academy system than he did in Huddersfield's. |

Three players you mentioned there are Loch lane juniors, so his point is invalid, there must be 20 players in super league come from loch lane |
