20 miles away... so thats about 10 mins for your average Widnes back to front burberry baseball cap wearing light fingered chav and his mates in a lowered Citroen Saxo with 20" alloys and an exhaust the size of my chimney.
I'll wager the toxic cloud can do it in half that time.

Who are Widnes signing then? Kind of forgot they were joining SL due to how ineffective they've been in the Championship.
From a Widnes fans pov, where do you realistically expect to finish next season? Crowd averages? Overseas players?

Do we have to explain this everytime? People still don't get why we haven't spent up on players the last 3 years - erm...we didn't have to!
How can we comment on our team when we don't know it yet. We're under no illusions, next year will be tough. |

A number of their players will presumably come from whichever current SL side gets ditched. It would make some sense for Widnes to wait and see which club gets the chop before signing too many players up just because they're OOC (marquee players aside).

Wasn't the idea of an early announcement to PREVENT what you suggest and give Widnes the opportunity to make signings before the chop was made. |

Correct but I guess it's also inevitable that a few will be signed from by relegated side due mainly to them taking up a large part of the available Market. As said we can still sign a few up in the meantime (officially starting today.
Once the final SL announcement is made however the picture will be a lot clearer for all. |

We're two wins off top spot in the Championship and unbeaten in eight IIRC, despite what I think is quite a poor team.
I think we'll finish in the bottom three of SL.
I think we'll gladly sign anyone who can improve us, quota or non-quota.
Crowd averages - Probably end the season above 7k. |
