I am not here to ‘defend’ or otherwise the nature of the comments or religious texts. I am simply pointing out the crass hypocrisy and intolerance shown to the man by people who claim to be defending freedom when in fact all they are doing is trying to shut down the freedom and views of people with different views to their own. It’s the modern day fascism but I think it’s days are numbered now.

The key question being what is a controversial signing?

Is it someone who condemns homosexuality with his religious beliefs?

Is it someone with a criminal record?

Is it someone with a record of domestic violence or just plain violence?

Is it a drug cheat? Is it someone who uses recreational drugs?

SL is pushing it itself into a hole here.

This has never been brought up before yet Folau has become the bogeyman.
