| Watkins didn't want anything to do with Bill Tupou all night, god damn. I lost count of the number of times he either brushed Watkins off like a fly or just ran around him completely untouched.
I thought that Leeds had turned a corner somewhat after they ran Saints so close, but tonight's performance was back down at the level they showed away to Wire. Cameron Smith will be torn a new one when the team sits down for the video review, he had a shocker.

| Leicester are totally relevant- my point being that you can't just bluntly label sides average in the long-term this early on. Watching stains v Leeds and Salford; I didnt see anything to majorly distinguish differing standands of rl between your team and there's. And this is my point as108- what gives you the credentials and insight to label two good looking teams on paper 'average' this early on in the season when your side has only just managed to beat them. By classing them as average, I take it you expect them both finish mid-table?

| The plus side of tonights rout is Leeds will win three games this season as they still have to play us twice.
I've just been sent an image of a mug with the handle on the inside with the slogan "things more useful than Richie Myler"

| Quote wrencat1873="wrencat1873"You sound worried to me.
Saints squeaked past Wakefield 2 weeks ago and literally robbed Leeds of 2 points, with some massively dubious calls last week and yet you call these 2 sides average. Sorry pal but on that basis, Saints also, are just average.
Trinity totally bullied and dominated Leeds tonight, something that Saints certainly didn't manage last week or, maybe you just softened them up for us, so, thanks for that.
As for average, if this means mid table, which by definition it does, I'll take that for now and lets see what happens through a long tough season.
Saint's and Wire look like they will finish top of the pile and that's great.
For Trinity, I'll be more than happy with 5th or better and right now, they look good value for that but, as I said, a hell of a long way to go and by your own reckoning, Saints have yet to play any top sides, so, you just be careful that your crown (actually Wigan's crown) doesn't slip and completely blind you
'"
We’ve won 4 out of 4, what exactly am I sounding worried about? Guess how many points we got for beating Leeds and guess how many you got. Believe it or not you didn’t get any more for totally bullying them. And you’ve just called Saints average then said we look like we’ll finish top of the pile with Warrington. Make your mind up.

| Unfair on smith he’s never a 6 and shouldn’t be asked to play there certainly not at this stage of his career. He’s played limited minutes off the bench then is expected to step into 6 when he’s a back row. The coach’s selection is what should be torn a new one.

Correct but I’m not sure that can be an excuse for missing tackles like he did, something he needs to be able to do wherever he plays.

| Unfortunately about as good as it get's of late for Wakey fans, but I'll take it.
Any win at Headingley is a moment to savour, but a big win coupled with raining on their parade is an added bonus.
I hope it hasn't put ThePrinter's rehab back too much.
Shame they took the foot of the gas at the back end, still, much later than against London.

| Watkins needs time to get himself together.
That injury will have smashed his confidence to bits, he played like he was walking on eggshells the whole game and being up against Tupou magnify's everything.
I'm finding it difficult to be too critical, the guy might have recovered physically but he's still playing injured mentally.
He'll come good eventually.
I thought Cam Smith was ok, but then he didn't have to pull any trees up to look ok.
Dwyer went well and Hurrel showed what he can do.
Leeds looked ok up front in this game, but ok wasn't good enough when nothing is happening anywhere else.

We beat Salford by 22 points and scored 4 more try’s than them. If you didn’t see any major differences between the two teams then you’re severely deluded and incredibly stupid. You get the same amount of points for beating a team by 1 point as you do 40. We were slated for starting the season brilliantly last season and fading away at the end of it. We seem to be going about it the right way this time whilst still winning 4 out of 4 yet we’re average because we didn’t blow a couple of teams away. Yes I do expect them to finish mid-table but how do Leeds look above average when they’ve won 1 out of 5?

You must be worried, camping on a Leeds - Wakefield thread for half the night, just to say how average both sides are.
Totally bullying a side does seem to make securing the points slightly easier and the win tonight was pretty damn comfortable and unlike last week, Trinity were smashing Leeds in their own back yard, not scraping past them at home with dodgy calls aplenty.
Unlike some other sides, Trinity certainty made light work of beating the Rhinos
Some fans of other sides are saying that Trinity played well but, you're too busy choking on your bitter to actually admit that and yes, Saints are my tip for the LLS, but, that doesn't matter a jot when they're not even playing, does it.
By the way, how did you enjoy playing Catalan in the cup semi last season, that was a cracking day out for the neutrals

I said you were good in attack, what do you want me to say you were absolutely incredible and it was some of the best rugby I’ve ever seen? I think I said Wakey were average a maximum of two times, I’m not worried about you at all as we won’t be playing you in the big games. It was Gazwire who started the whole Saints must be average because they only just beat Wakey and nonsense. And securing the points slightly easier doesn’t get you anymore than scraping a win does.

| Leeds have a new coach, new players and many returnees from injuries and they'll get better. If your judgement is that Leeds are an average side, baring in mind you were fortunate to beat them in your own stadium- what does that make stains? Or were stains laying off the gas? - though it didn't look like they were laying off the gas!
You see as108, here lies the problem. You've brazenly labelled two sides you've only just beaten as average relative to your beloved stains, and then wonder why you've had your judgment questioned. I'll leave it with you.
On an aside, Wakey looked excellent tonight and will be more than a threat to anyone. Leeds have got some gelling still to do, but give them time-I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see them challenge as time progresses.
