| Quote: Lord God Jose Mourinho "Wonderful game. I actually thought Bentham got the final call right so don't see an issue. I did think NZ had a couple of forward passes in the build up to their very first try though.
The games in this tournament have been really great. It's been a pleasure to watch the RL the players have put on show.
The main downside of the tournament for me has been the utterly ridiculous reffing of the Aussies late hits on kickers who have blatantly already kicked the ball. It's almost like there's been a new rule where if Aussies have made an effort and get within 4m of a kicker when he kicks it's okay, he can still carry on and do the kicker anyway.'"
I think more disappointing has been the mysterious decision to use an entirely new set of rules and not tell anyone. Its an absolute embarrassment that the premier international RL competition this year has been refereed to a set of rules that don't exist. It hasn't been NRL, RFL or international rules, just a made up mish mash.

| Interesting that Australia's continued and persistent late fouling of the kicker gets a big mention but it wasn't even noticed when they did the same Vs England

Yes it was, cheating Aussie b stards, too numerous to mention the infringements they got away with
Well done the Kiwi's, my brother will still be out on the beer celebrating in the Hutt

| A superb match to finish of what has been the best international tournament for over 25 years.
Quality games with the result's in doubt until the last few minutes.
The sheer power, skill, commitment on view has been superb and Shaun Johnson's magic just put the cherry on the cake.
A pity that our boys couldn't make the final but, a fantastic tournament.
Totally agree with the comments about late hits on Johnson and the officials were very poor in not dealing with this but, what a
superb advert for our sport !

| Great game to complete a fantastic series. Really think the refs should be protecting the kicker though. Also isn't the shoulder charge banned? It was a cracker by the Beast though!

| I got Andrew Voss's call of the game.
Who was calling the game for the BBC?
Also did Ray Warren do the call in Australia on Channel 9?

Who did they choose as Man of the Match?
And what did they say when Shaun Johnson beat Gregory Inglis to score?

They said Inglis is $h1t and overated, like most of the Aussies he cheats as well

I asked two serious questions, and I expected two serious answers.
Please keep your anti-Australian prejudices for conversations with guttersnipe.

They said that few players can do that.
Can't remember who they said was there MOTM but would guess Johnson.
