| Quote Bigpev="Bigpev"You sir are a liar last season the crowd at Salford v HKR was 4224, of which over 3000 were Salford fans, there was possibly 500 HKR fans in the North Stand, which i remember commenting on at the time that they used to bring more. I was there, you on your own admission don't travel out of Hull because that is far enough for expansion.
On another point the PSG game against Salford which had the smallest ever super league crowd, I was there as well, unlike the other games it was played on a Wednesday night, PSG had technically gone bust, the game was not advertised in Paris at all, it was free to get in with all exit door being opened to let people in, the only fans there were Salford fans. The bar in the stadium ran out of beer and I had to go out of the ground and bar some beer from the cafe bar outside and I brought it back in on a tray 4 beers and a coffee.
Oh i was at Wrexham on Sunday when again we took about 500 fans and there were less than 2000 crusaders fans.'"
I doubt he meant last years fixture, maybe the one which was basically a relegation battle a couple of years ago? And he does travel, just not to London or Wales.

Not sure who that little dummy spit was aimed at.....but if it was me, I would have trouble getting to every game in SL this year..........given I currently reside on the other side of the planet.
If you are curious regarding if there are London Fans who go to every home and away game..I believe there are. The rack up in excess of 6,000 miles a year and god only knows how much they spend and as far as I know, none of them own a helicopter or plane.
As I have already said a number of times......away crowds don't count for diddly squat in the licence procedure....but having a --hole of a ground, reported debts of 3 million and a team packed with Australian journeymen because you haven't got a yoof sytem does...hope that helps

That's the one mate. Think the attendance was between 7000-8000, us having a good 3000 on that end.
Also right about travelling, go to games in Lancashire & Yorkshire.

"Australian journeymen", Jesus Christ. Remember your roots GF.
Re our ground, Craven Park with 7000-8000 in looks a whole lot better on Sky (and paints the game in a more positive light to potential sponsors and investors) then 2500 at The Stoop. HTH.

| Setting aside the very entertaining 1,000,000th episode of Quins vs HKR away following episode;-
"The" Crusaders vs Quins match attendance at Neef is not surprising at all.
1. South Walian valley boys are very VERY good at holding grudges. (1984 miner's strike and subsequent cowardly capitulation by Northern miners is not yet forgotten or forgiven). We were shafted by Mike Turner / Leighton Samule / RFL. Why would any of us except a handful of dhimmis want anything to do with the journeyman ANZAC club?
2.Taking out the 1st 2 Wrexham matches, the average attendance of "The" Crusaders is what? 3000? I think 1100 in an area where they previously took a big DUMP on fans is actually better than they could reasonably expect.
3. Neef is the very HEART of Welsh rugby union (at least it has been since Bridgend were phukked over the first time by Samule / Moffett.) There were probably as many tearing down such posters as there were putting them up (and probably burning down the place they were sited as well).
4. South Wales was mercilessly slagged off by flatcappers last year, to an even greater extent that Wrexham is being lauded now, for no other reason than flatcappers don't like to travel. Not a very welcoming background for those not already turned off by being phukked over by Turner / Samule is it?
5. The dhimmis would be at the game. Those of us who had the temerity to feel betrayed last year and spoke about it would remember the bitchy, libellous personal attacks that even the slightest criticism of the wandering ANZACS elicited from spongy bi law undergrads and the Celtic Crusader's first official hooligan. If I wanted to hang out with w-anchors, I could go to the Swansea Maritime museum for nothing.
The modest attendance was nothing to do with the quality of the match and only a little to do with kick-off times / television issues. It was EVERYTHING to do with current prejudices and past betrayals.
(Awaits torrents of condescending abuse punctuated by generous use of smilies)

See....you have no concept of what an advertiser wants
Viewing figures....regardless of what's being viewed are the key here. Sky don't give a toss how many people are at a game, it's the fact that they can publish their ad rates with a London, welsh and french team involved......and counter the M62 arguments from advertisers who want to pay less.
As for Craven park looking better than the stoop.......yeah, if you're into looking at old buildings that need knocking down
Sky only care about money........and they generate more from ad sales because their is a London team in Superleague. They don't care if they show games in an empty stadium so long as Proctor & Gamble keep writing cheques.......it's a commercial fact BTW...not an aesthetic issue.
If you continue to use the submission smilie you will only continue to show yourself up........I admire your passion for your club, but all you really bring to the table are our attendances and guess what? We know they're bad, so do the RFL and anyone else who cares........but we still bring a lot to the table.....try the 1.2 million your club gets every year. Without a London club, I doubt you would continue to get that much from Sky.

Hmm, wouldn't class a stadium opened in 1989 as an old building needing down personally.
If that really is the case then the game's screwed IMO.
