Can't help think that the Cas ship has sailed and if they couldn't pick up some silverware in the last 2 seasons despite playing so well for so much of the season(s) then I dont know when they will.

Castleford not recruiting will surely come back to bite them later in the season, there's always room for improvement and a couple injuries are really going to hurt them as I'd say depth in the squad is questionable.

Squad of 29 players, 22 of which have SL experience and are regulars, while Maher, Turner, Gill and Egodo have all played at least one senior game. Well if I were strengthening Wakefield by picking over those two squads I reckon Catalan would be pretty safe whilst Cas might have a few holes.

Who at Castleford is better than Antoine Gigot (Lancelot Todd trophy winner), David Mead, Samuel Tomkins, Remi Casty, Michael McIlorum, Julien Bousquet, and Gregory Bird?

Most of them - Gogot had two good games WOW, Mead show pony, Tomkins has been poor for years but staged a bit of a comeback this year so we shall see if he keeps it up, Casty just a hard worker loads of those at Cas ditto Bousquet. Bird past it and a grub but I might be interested, McIlorum yes I'd have him.
