| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "Poor form by Workington, who should be grateful that they are at home playing a team with a huge fan base (by League 1 standards) and thus substantial traveling support.'"
How many Bradford fans attended, how many fans would not attend if the game was televised, particularly given the distance/weather, how many home fans may not have gone either if it were shown?
So fraud frenchie, what is the revenue difference and what are Workington actually grateful for, precisely?

And Workington won a famous victory this afternoon, if only there'd been a way for people all over the country to see it. They could have attracted more than the 600 or so people from Workington who showed up today to their next home game'"

Bradford as arrogant as ever.'"
Oh bore off with the arrogance line. End of day its Workingtons loss IMO workington had a great victory over us today (deservedly so) and yet barely 600 Cumbrians saw it and theres no way they or we as a sport can now show that off to try get people through Towns gates for future.
Since Bradford streaming their games our crowds have increased, the viewing figures have been impressive with proper sport. Is it proof it works. No. Isnit worth carrying it on and as a sport for once why don't we work together and try help the sport grow. I want Workington to increase their crowds.
Crowds are plummeting, sky viewing figures are plummeting, participation levels are at an all time low. Lets keep doing what we're always doing now though and hoping for different results.
BTW i thought the tone of our statement was poor. But i believe the decision by Workington to ban the steam is the reason we're a small time sport at the moment.

| Bloody hell you'd think Workington turned down the chance to be shown on Sky or BBC and not just some little stream.

Leigh owner Derek Beaumont didn't want Premier Sports to be able to show Leigh v Toronto. A lot of pubs in Leigh were 'showing the game' and advertising it to the max. In the end, for whatever reason it did get televised, and with a crowd of over 5K it didn't matter in the end. It's Workington's right to refuse live streaming at their ground, and 'fair play' to them. No need for Chalmers to spit his dummy out. Sounded like an exciting game, but what would have Town got out of it, allowing live coverage. A BIG FAT ZERO.

Not something you say often with your own adopted country's travelling support

Have announced that there 1st game in Canada will be on may 5th.
It will be against Swinton, and played at Fletcher's Field Markham. Which is about 30 miles North of Toronto.

The 'viewing figures' are meaningless - if a video plays for a few seconds on Facebook it's counted as a view. There's no way in this world that the numbers being claimed are anywhere near the numbers who actually watch(ed) the games.

| Worky have done Bradford a favour. Before this spat barely anyone was aware that BB streamed their games - certainly not the purported potential national audience that some are claiming would have tuned in.

| Fair play to Bradford for at least trying to show league one games, although a poor stream on the laptop isn't going to do much other than maybe try to entice stay away fans to come back. Though I do think they should ask each club for permission if they haven't done so?

| BBC Bristol reporting that Ashton Gate will bid for a World Cup game. To be fair to the team in Bristol they did a great job of promoting the last World Cup game at the Memorial Ground, getting 7k in midweek for an unattractive USA-Cook Islands game put some of the heartlands marketing efforts to shame. Ashton Gate is much bigger and has also recently had 2 new stands.
