Don't be so self defeating sir.

| Quote JonnoTheGreat="JonnoTheGreat"As far as I'm concerned Wakey should be turfed out of SL on the basis of that total dive of a 'ground'. There's better stadiums in the lower leagues than that dump. It's an embarrassment to the sport.
Imagine being a non-RL fan and seeing that shed on tv. It would put you off the sport for life knowing someone out there allows games to be played at that hole.
Wakefield fans have rightly got the reputation as the biggest whingers in rugby league. Never beaten, only ever cheated by referees and not a top four club because of a so-called 'RFL conspiracy' against their 3rd rate club, who, incidentally, certainly have never won a World Club Challenge.'"
Wakey rightly deserve their current position. This is the result of a few years foundation work on the team. Chester has done very well since we let him go, he is obviously a much better fit there. Poor old Belle Vue is hardly living up to its name but Wakey have had to work very hard to do somthing about it and not had an option to walk into a council house, sorry, stadium, that some such as our near neighbours play in.
Widnes may have a decent stadium but over the years have fritted away any opportunities they had to capitalise on it. Their team is a hopeless selection of missfits put together by Betts who should have been sacked three years ago. Widnes have been limping along for years and have ignored the signs of only just surviving for a few years. Relegation will force a rethink that will either doom the club to living outside SL or cause the owners to finally do something about the situation rather than just keep surviving in SL. Hopefully the latter as Widnes have a long and proud history.
Salford might just have enough to survive but unless the finances are resolved are likely to be in the bottom two again next year.
As for us? We've done relegation once and survived OK. I'm not sure we could bounce straight back a second time. I'm hoping we'll be fine but I've supported Rovers way too long to not be a little nervous.

| With Leeds only beating Widnes in last 11 SL games and Salford result against them tonight, surely Leeds are actually MPG fodder now?

| Leeds will do well to avoid the MPG. Poor squad with to many oldies and deadwood.

He’ll see to it that a league structure change comes in to bring immediately following a mpg defeat for Leeds...

I think we (leeds) are in a hole, but, I don’t think tonights game will mean anything regarding the middle 8s, it was a dead rubber with Leefs focus being on next Sunday, Leeds didn’t field a full side tonight, having said that there is a big problem to fix at leeds and im not sure its all down to not having players that are good enough, the tam is not that dis similar to the team that came 2nd and won the Grand Final last year, I think theres something mentally within the club that’s not right, we have lost 4 games against top sides by a point, its as if they don’t believe they can win and that is something that could not be levelled at Rhinos’s sides over the lst 15 years, it will take a frw years to tebuild that and I think Sinfield is the right man to over see that change, I just hope they’ve got enough in them to see the middle 8s out, I don’t care how they do it but they need to finish in the top 3 of the split.
My big worry is if we pull out a big performance next week and make the final that could actually be a massive distraction in the middle 8s, which should be our focus.

I don't think you should flatter yourself too much. I know sky like to go on about Leeds and Hull's injury list but rarely mention a side like us struggling to put 17 out (based not only on our injury list but the fact we don't actually have many players) We are so short of players we borrow kids from Wigan and our coaching staff have to fill in for the lack of bodies during training.
Maybe it was a dead rubber for you hell maybe it even was for us, but bear in mind whilst you've beaten Widnes in what 11 games, you got soundly beaten by a team low on everything including 12 men for most of the game and debutant (JH) who lasted around 20 mins .

| Rhinos could potentially drop to the Championship. Might be a good thing considering Hetherington doesn't share the Super League vision.
Maybe it is time for a PL style breakaway. Let SL control it's own league, the RFL the rest with it's own TV deal....

Leeds have form in pre CC Semi and Final games. 2014 we were the only team to lose to London that year when we played them the week before Wembley.
Also point out that we play Salford at home in the middle 8’s and the score line was 20-0 earlier in the year.
