| I really do like to see the british player development system in full flow. The signings so far show just how good it is.

| Corey Thompson isn't a bad signing - he always looks game, definitely a trier - I'd guess he'll score a hatful. Although not a regular starter for the Doggies, he always looks capable when he gets his chance and never let's anyone down.
Those who think Manu is a great signing - have you seen him play the past 3 years at Penrith? He's been average at absolute best... This year he's averaging 17 tackles and 8 hit ups for less than 70 meters per game and has only made 2 line breaks all year (15 appearances) - and it was hardly better last year, averaging 18 tackles and 8 hit ups for 72 meters - oh and he only made 1 line break all year (23 appearances). Those ain't the figures of a great signing and are the reason he's no longer a starter at the Panthers...

He's one of the great (and numerous) examples of a player looking like a superstar in the Melbourne system and then being found to be bang average when they move on (usually for big money)- he's been a huge waste of money at Penrith and is by no means a starter at Penrith nowadays....
He's average, but looked great doing a simple job in the Melbourne system outside their 'big 4' - a poor signing in my eyes, and probably on a fair wedge...'"
Don't be upsetting the Hull FC fans. It's their year, don't you know?

| To be fair, Hull as a City is usually 15 years behind the rest of the UK, and it's only 5 years since Manu was a good player - they're making progress...

You could say so, however, in his 18 games this year, Galloway has averaged 22 tackles and 13 hit ups for an average of 115 meters..... Far better stats than Manu, and those numbers are still pretty good going for a limited minutes prop - the sort of stats I'd expect Leeds will be hoping to get from him, so horses for courses for Leeds..... I'd guess for the money Hull will be paying Manu, they'd expect more than his current averages - their fans clearly expect some superstar... The Hull fans jus need to realise they've not signed the version of Manu that looked great outside Cronk, Smith and Slater, they've signed the expensive dud who's done nothing at Penrith without the 'big 3' - his stock has declined massively - so imagine how much worse he might look in a Hull team that will provide even less talent support than the Panthers.
Pritchard should be a good signing for Hull if he stays fit and is hungry for it, but I stand by my comment; Manu is a dud!

So the first use of the marquee rule is not to actually sign a marquee player but just to be able to spend over the cap. Who'd have thought it?

Yeh, we get it mate
It's funny that you've picked out Manu for criticism over all the players listed on the fist page. Perhaps it's a coincidence that it's a player Leeds were after and were turned down?
I don't think many (maybe the odd few) are getting carried away with the Manu signing, Pritchard is the one were most excited about, but we're very happy with our recruitment as a whole.

The HDM editor is a Hull FC fan. Most likely made it up that Leeds etc and no doubt countless NRL clubs were after the player his team have signed. Big them up and makes it look like the said player has been signed amidst tough competition.

Yes, imagine the memo the HDM editor sends to their reporters, "listen guys, any Hull FC signings, make sure you link them with some top clubs to make them look better". And surely this would be the case with every signing? You're a bonehead Zod

Leeds fan stating Leeds weren't interested, banned forum user standee under a different guise disputing HDM bias.
There's a surprise
