11th October release date...

For aus and NZ, nothing for UK. Really annoyed and there are rumours about them not releasing it at all over here.

will the Aus/NZ version work on a UK PS3?

or will it be available for download from the Playstation store?

Yep, PS3 is region free.

I cant see why it wouldnt get a UK release.

Why bother putting all the UK domestic game in aswell and then not release to that market?

And its not as if it has a huge worldwide market to aim at.The UK could provide a big chunk of its potential sales.

Im still a bit sceptical about buying this anyway.i want it to be good but the previous game was so poor i think i will wait for a few reviews to come out before diving in.

The Game store in Wigan are advertising it for pre-order.

What price do they have it at as on the Game website I could not find anything about it

if it is region free then there is absolutely no reason for it not to be on sale in the UK. Had it needed massive work to redevelop it for the UK, then I can see why they wouldn't release it, but surely it is just a case of shipping a load over to a distributor in the North of England, who will pass it onto the retailers in each RL town.

If there are no distributors willing to do this, I will happily do it for them.

"To the UK fans - we are not in a position yet to announce a release date for the UK, obviously if we could we would. Please be patient , we are working around the clock to try and get this date to you ASAP."

The first one was released over here about 2 months after the Oz release if that's anything to go by.

If that is the case then i have my xmas pressie sorted....beats socks!
