How many times was he telling Wigan players they weren't square?? It means the space is narrowed, hooker can't scoot, allowing Wigan to get off the line quick. Penalise it!!

He had a good game I thought and got the Griffin call spot on. It wasn’t a rub or a tap and it caused a flare up. I think he’ll get the final as well and rightfully so.

Imagine getting absolutely walloped in a semi final then blamimg the ref.

When we won the dinner plate thing it was the video refs fault and now Kendalls.

Bit like that time we had the refs in our pocket but were the most penalised side in the league.

I agree he got the Griffin call correct by the way, it was a stupid act from Griffin and Kendall was spot on.

However, Kendall also made a series of howlers which have been listed already in this thread. He also missed two incidents last week that should have been red cards and also should’ve sent Greenwood off v Saints.

So to suggest he deserves to get the final is crazy talk in my opinion. However knowing the RFL like I do, I 100% expect him to get it.

The video ref got the Greenwood incident wrong and the two incidents last week. I thought Kendall put in the best refereeing display I’ve seen in donkeys years in that Wigan vs Saints game recently. His communication with the players was absolutely brilliant and helped the game flow. It was played at a frantic pace, without many stoppages and he played his part in that. Without that performance we don’t get one of the best games in a few years. I thought he had another good game tonight.

He deserves the final and will get it.

Most of these arent Hull fans, we deserved to get beat, thought the Griffin one was right, stupid to run 20 meters to do that.

But most of the other 50/50's went Wigans way, that's sport, we hot a few last week.

Wigan were the best team and deserved the win.

And you didn’t get absolutely walloped as he said, you were right in that game up until the Griffin incident and it was never a 29-2 game. A number of chances just didn’t quite come off for Hull.

Prior to the last few weeks I’d have agreed he’s our best ref but he’s had some real high profile howlers.

I take on board your comments re the video ref; Hicks could and should’ve stepped in last week. But I also expect Kendall not to miss them, in particular the McIlorum.

Going back to tonight he’s missed a forward pass for the Smith try, he wrongly penalised Connor when French had already dropped the ball and the 1 on 1 steak from Griffin was wrongly penalised too. He’s not the reason Hull lost by the way, Wigan were the better side, but he’s making too many mistakes currently.

Unfortunately he’s had 2 playoff games and after both, a lot of the talk is about him. Now I know you’re gonna get that from opposition (or neutral ) fans but it’s not good that he’s been surrounded in controversy the last 2 weeks.

I’ve always thought the best refs are those that you don’t notice and aren’t talked about and he’s the complete opposite at the minute. His last two performances haven’t been good at all. Also, he’d be under so much scrutiny from the first whistle next week that I think there’d be an element of the RFL throwing him to the wolves personally.
