Not quite sure where that one comes from as the Salford born multi millionaire has been asked to get involved with Salford since John Wilkinson was at the helm, he would rather see us go to the wall than help with a single penny.
His one and only interest beside making money is MUFC

they won't release attendances unless they want to....I doubt we'll know how exceptional this is until they release their accounts.....by which stage we'll have forgotten the "spin"we swallowed.....like the record attendance for a weekend.......which we couldn't beat last weekend when we had one game with nearly 45% of that record...  |

That's what I was saying - that I think SL wants to have a 14 club league but understandably not right now, when it would mean splitting the same money among more teams. |

Scrap that Multi Millioaire tag I've never really looked into his wealth before but it's safe to say he is a bilionaire. And interestingly whilst "Rugby League Fan" Done has never helped us out with a single dime the second richest dude in the region John Wittaker the Chairman of "Peel Holdings" joint owners of Salford's stadium with Salford City Council has also helped with not one dime.
Their choice of co but don't give me that "Rugby League Fan" BULLS*IT !!
These are the richest people in Greater Manchester and Cheshire

Not pouring their money into a club doesn’t mean they aren’t a fan or don’t care but at the end of the day they’re business men and will judge it with their heads as much as their hearts. Steve Parkin is a huge Leeds Utd fan, has a box at Elland Road and goes to most games when he can, worth over £100m but has resisted calls from fans over the years to bid for Leeds when they’ve been going through their various ownerships because he said owning a football club is a bad investment.

Did not say it would pay entirely for 2 more teams, but its a step toward that especially if we can get a deal from Sky to fund 2 more teams. Sadly some chairman if we do get an increase will want to keep the extra for them selves. |

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
