| Its good to see the outcry that hit when the NRL tried to pooh pooh the game has now shifted to "why Denver"
World Cup 2025 in USA, lets get an Eng v NZ international in Denver.....NRL says they won't release players....
"thats disgusting. They shouldn't have a say" "this game should definitely go ahead" "how naive to not play it" "place conspiracy theory here"
*background work takes place to get game on*
The game will now be played......
"how ridiculous" "should be played in Toronto" "They should have played at *place generic stadium here*"
Eddie Hearn will quickly jump ship when he realises that it's not just the establishment which holds RL back....

| Unless of course this is a way of working out if people will be interested in RL in the US?

| I’m skeptical this is going to be a success, but would be glad to be proved wrong.

....and if they aren't?
I fear for the RLWC in 2025.........trying to create interest in a sport with no foothold and then deliver an event of that size is a mammoth task that will take many many many millions of $ to see any traction.....and what exactly do we know about Json Moore and his company?
1. rlhttps://www.mooresportsintl.com/news/rl He doesn't update his website that often!
2. er....not a lot
Sad to say it, but if they fail to get enough interest in this, I can see the RLWC 2025 being re-allocated....

| Im wondering how we will judge whether this is a success seen as there is no basis to compare. I would see it as a success if there were 20,000 people there seen as that would be a decent international attendance anywhere in the world but that would just look rubbish in such a big ground.

Toronto has a team there as it is, if the games to be taken across the Atlantic, then why would you go somewhere which has a foothold already.

| Well Im definitely going. I love Denver and no trip would be complete without a visit to the Howl at the moon bar. Went a few years back and shook John Elways hand. Superb

Imo the nzrl and rfl should send out thousands of free tickets to schools colleges and universities around Denver. May get some younger people hooked and want to play the game'" and where exactly would they go to play it?

People can form clubs to play and access areas with help from the IRLF Negative reply from a flat capper no doubt

| The easy way to judge the attendance is to compare it to the RU international (which does include USA admittedly) that's in Denver just after.
I don't see why we don't put on a game between USA v Canada beforehand?
Do we know if the ARL are going to release the players over there for definite yet? If not it's even harder to market/Sell.
Also this 1 of 4 internationals that will be in America between know and the 2025 WC. I personally would also include at least 1 of either the WCC or even a Magic weekend.
But you can't complain that at least they're trying to do something to make the 2025 WC a success beforehand. Rather than just turning up and hoping it is.

| actually, this is one you'd like to wake brian barwick up from his nap and tell him to get his finger out and speak to stan kroenke who owns nal, but also own the denver nuggets nba team, colorado avalanche nhl team, colorado rapids MSL team and weirdly, the LA Rams in the NFL.
He might be some help towards marketing.
