If they had a "running backwards" race he would have won easy. Ever noticed him warming up at matches? he is as fast in reverse as forwards!!

He'll be some distance off the fastest man in London when the Olympics come round.

Sadly Caro doesn't seem as fast with a ball in hand. Usually seems to get run down - even in the Under 20s when I've occassionallly watched that. But how hard was Offiah trying to build him up in a blatant attempt to increase his agent's fee?

I agree. To be last in a sprint race of young athletes when you are older and you don't even play is pretty good.
I reckon he would come quite a long way up the list if you had all players running.

He has increased my respect for him as a person. As a ref I think he's ok too....ish.

Yep, he's in his 40's is Thierry so he didn't do badly at all against a load of very quick youngsters.

I think he's quite a poor ref but he doesn't seem to have the ego of some of the other refs and like you, he's gone up in my estimation for having the balls to take part.
