As a Leeds fan, I would be happy with this

You stole my thread. I do the polls icon_lol.gif

And how can you have a draw anyway? Do you mean in normal time?

Can't see past a Wigan win but Leeds always do well against Wigan and have played well against them this year. I'd say 28-20 to Wigan

Wigan 32 - Leeds 10.

B. Davies was more than a match for the Leeds props in the semi final. If he can't even get into the Wigan squad, god help Leeds.

Wigan's pack is nothing special. It's the defense as a unit Leeds need to find a way through. Saints did half the job at the weekend, the yards were easy enough to come by, but the brick wall they found on the try line was something we couldn't get through over or around.

Leeds have more pace in the backs which is one benefit, but I don't fancy McDermott's chances of winning the tactical battle with Maguire.

If it's a draw in the final after 80 minutes there is no extra time and there will be a replay this only happens in the final presumably for the RFL to make money out of another game

I think it may be a lot closer than most on here are predicting.
Leeds seem to have a knack of playing well against Wigan, we will certainly need to be on our guard to bring the cup home.

Leeds have the advantage of playing there last year and they will want to atone for that drubbing.

2010 - Warrington beat Leeds. Warrington were above in the table.

2008 - St Helens beat Hull. St Helens were above in the table

2007 - St Helens beat Catalans. St Helens were above in the table.

2006 - St Helens beat Hudds. St Helens were above in the table.

Only twice out of the last 6 finals has the team lower in the table won. They were Hull who beat Leeds and Warrington who beat Hudds. Hull were becoming a very good side and Warrington were only so low in the table because TS had come too late in the season.

I agree it doesn't always go the way of the top team but that doesn't mean form goes out of the window. Wigan are top of the table, current champions, back at Wembley and are rightly favourites. Leeds will have to play very well to win. Saints threw everything at us and still couldn't beat us.

Wigan by a country mile for me.

If Leeds can stop Sam Tomkins they might have a chance, can't see it myself though.

People say this but we do have other quality players in our team.

Tomkins is our best player by a long way but we have seen world-class plays from other players throughout the season even when Tomkins hasn't been playing.

If they shut Tomkins down then we still have Lockers who can throw that killer pass like he has done time and time again for us, we have Leuluai who can dart through at any moment, Finch who can put in a terrific kick of put Hoffman through a gap, we have Charnley who can go the length of the field, Carmont who can create something out of nothing and Pat who is the current MOS.

Granted we are a better team with Tomkins running riot but we have many more threats than just him.

Keep up Saddened. How can you maintain your 'all things Wigan are evil' campaign if you don't know who our players are?

I agree with this. Wigan will no doubt be bookis favourites but Leeds have the players and the big game experience to win.
