That is why I agree with the rule, if we got them packed down without them wasting time it would be more entertaining for the game to just flow.

As long as the scrum it doesn't end up like union with the endless restarts, then i don't mind, agree it's should be quick.

Other changes needed are the speeding up of the tackle area / play the ball. I noticed faster play the balls in the French Elite league. Only problem is, speeding SL up might tire already tired players out even more, by the time it comes to the end of the season. At least the clubs will be discussing it this week.

You should get someone to help you express your views full stop, because his/her post makes more sense than most of the tosh you post on the sin bin....

1. If a drop-out isn't taken within a fixed time (say 1 min) it should be a handover on the 10m.

2. Held-up over the line (IMO this law was changed too much in favour of the defence) should be a 'free tackle' (i.e. no advancement of the tackle count - a possible exception being on the last tackle).

held up over the line is still a tackle and you need someone to help you with your spelling the word is coherent

I hope it does tire them out, then we know we have to work on fitness etc...we need to step up and then maybe we can compete in the International arena.

I agree with both rules, especially the scrum one. The players that pack down to stop the clock, should then have to be the players that go into the scrum in the positions that they packed down to stop the clock, rather all break of and then get set in the correct positions.

erm I disagree with the scrum one and someone else made the point clear enough.
If you tried to interfere with the dropout one someone would just feign an injury in a point where they'd be interfering with play if it resumed.. trust me.
If however a referee were to see a player deliberately clear the ball an instant sin bin could be given

the scrum one is nonsense. More often than no it is the attacking team looking to form a quick scrum, so they rush and form it as quick as possible to get the clock stopped. the defending team will still simply wander over, form their scrum as they wish, and the attacking team would end being the one to lose out as they couldnt form their scrum as they wished as they had committed the crime of rushing to restart the game.

Clock off as soon as the ball is dropped/out of play for me, we have a clock that stops, why let it run down when they aren't playing?

Too much time wasted without playing for me. Just make it a penalty if they waste too much time, but for me I'm bored of "scrums" in RL anyway.
