Sowood's killing it in the NRL!
He's been there or there abouts for a couple of years but either he's matured a bit or Wayne Bennett has worked his magick on him cos he's gone way higher in performance and consistancy this year.
Can't beleive Andrew Johns was pushing his mate Mullen for SOO instead of Sowood.

if saints win the NRL GF you can take it to the bank that jamie soward will tour with the kangaroos. he might not get a starting spot but he would on the bench
he is the form half of the NRL. behind our forwards, jamie is our star player.
i wouldnt swap him for many others to be honest.

They are still referred to as the "Kangaroos" nowadays mate.
It was only used originally for the 4 year tours but now they are a thing of the past that has been dropped and a Test squad are now called the Kangaroos.
