Got an email from one of the NRLUS team who says the comp is still going ahead and more information about the comp will be on the website soon. Also a team based in Calgary, Canada are set to be included in the competition. Hopefully in 2010 we could have professional rugby league being played in 9 countries.

Semi-pro means there's at least some money in it for players, I doubt any AMNRL clubs have that at this point. |
