You like to tangle things up. Player contracts do not have to be linked to friendlies. Furthermore players should be able to enter into contracts with the clubs of their choice.
The Giants play batley as the 'free game'. The club play several regular first teamers + some capable squad players in the team. HTH |

It could work for the Giants as well , stop nasty Leeds nicking all your locals , lets face it they dont bother going to the Galpharm do they
But I forget , the Huddersfield Giants are the model of a successful solvent well run sports business |

They certainly have , I like Kevin , I have spoken many times with him about the problems facing the clubs outside SL , he does well , making the mount the favourite away venue in the Championships , many others could do well to follow his lead |

Not true. Making things up about the Giants team is futile.
The Bulldogs have been happy with the repeat fixture even if you have a problem with it. |

I agree. More clubs need to employ a good quality CEO / GM and work within tight budgets. |
