Nothing more, nothing less.'"
Those who often read my posts, mainly on the Cas board will know its not my style to whinge. No point and I always like to find the positive.
Losing has nothing to do with the fact I didnt go to Huddersfield, I stated earlier why I didnt go.
Many seem to think my comments are an attack on Huddersfield, again not the case. Those with a bit more sense might see that when people comment, sometimes there is logic in what they say. Many clubs play at grouds too big for them, but take measures to condense the crowd to make the atmosphere more intense etc... Pricing structures, or maybe even perceptions of pricing structures - I went to Huddersfeild two years ago and felt ripped off, yet it doesnt seem to be the case now, could greater awareness of pricing be on club websites perhaps?? Who knows?
But its nonsense to just brush it off as a "whinge" - couldnt be further from the truth.
Perhaps your those many Huddersfield fans who started watching in 2006?
Bet theres a bite!

| Your right it wasnt a great crowd. Thats what happens when you play on Friday nights though, people do other stuff instead.
Certainly the 1000 or so that came from Cas last year had other things to do.
Like whinge about how bad their team is.

| Just a couple of comments from reading this thread:
I don't know why people still think a ball steal by a defending player in their in-goal area should result in a penalty try. The decision in this situation has been a penalty to the attacking team 10m out for the last 3 seasons.
With regards to opinions about boring rugby, Huddersfield did used to play boring rugby but that's not the case any more. I actually find them quite an entertaining side to watch these days. For some bizarre reason this year Cas are trying to play boring rugby and it doesn't suit us and we aren't any good at it - we need to go back to accepting our defence is crap and trying to score more points than the other team like we did last season. For anyone wanting boring rugby I'd suggest Harlequins, Bradford or Crusaders.

why?
because the game was formed over a 100 years ago in a hotel in our town does that mean that everyone in huddersfield should want to spend friday nights at a rugby match that they can watch for free on tv anyway if they so wished?
im presuming by your notion that rugby RUFC are the best supported union club then?
oh and code 13,like me, is one of the "Fartown 500"

| Was reading through the latest Gronow book last night and it mentioned the Keighley game that set the lowest ever attendance which, if memory serves me, was 343. We drew 32 all after being 32-12 down after 45mins. The average that season was somewhere between 5-600.

Combined with any of the other teams mentioned I'd agree. The Good Friday game with us was dire too.
