It always makes me laugh when people say that, what exactly is Morley going to do, beat you up?

One of the best/saddest Cougar v Huddersfield games was the Grand final at Old trafford. Great because we beat huddersfield after some really games during the season and sad bacause just after that the RFL really screwed the club.
Anyway I have seen a lot of Huddersfield v Keighley games over the years and some were just bizarre. Only 2 not at fartown. One after the stadium opened and we couldn't get a park in the "official car park" attendance that day about 3,000.
And the other was after Huddersfield had actually been relegated and then came back into SL.
I don't like the Galpharm, it's too cold and austere with little atmosphere but that's me. I know othere think it's great!

That reminds me of him coaching Runcorn Highfield when they had won 6/7 and they alledgedly sacked him cos they couldn't afford to pay winning pay.

| Surely a better question to ask is who do each team regard as their biggest fixture ?
Saints will pick Wigan and vice versa the majority of the time but then a wigan fan who lives in warrington might consider that a bigger game ?
Again Leeds Bradford would pick each other
Warrington again depends on where you live/brought up, i was brought up in a Wigan supporting area so i regard them as the biggest game where as some see Widnes and others see Saints ?
Subjective subject really.

When it's got about 10-11,000 in it, it's a good place to have a good atmosphere, where there 6,000, it's not great. It's a hell of a lot better when we're winning, but it's still not a great place with only a few thousand in. The Galpharm is better in so many ways. The Cougars games were great, we had a great little derby with them.

obviously the 30-0 game was just fantastic for us fartowners and will live long in the memory,as was the 91-92 game when brimah kebbie scored a length of the field try on our way to the 3rd division title, thats when cougarmania was just taking off.
i remember most games pretty well with big away followings for both clubs,i remember a game at leeds road when keighley brought 2500 over and it was the loudest i ever heard the "cougar roar" under the low roof
the premiership final was awful, because not only were we soundly beaten but we were sat among the cougars which was pretty daunting.
it was such a shame when we went back there in 2001 in the nfp, despite an easy giants win it didn't feel right with only 1200 or so there, how times had changed even then.
but i still remember the buzz we had when it was keighley away, stopping at the flappit for refreshments and trying to predict the outcome.
great, great days never to be seen again

| I don't care what anybody says but the Hull derby is a prime time fixture. Every time I watch it the game is full of incident and drama even when neither team is playing well.

| Comparing 'fixtures' is akin to asking 'what is the best meal on a menu?'. The steak may sound nice but if it isn't cooked well then it's a write off.
Seen great games, Wigan Saints, Hull Rovers, Leeds Bradford, Aus NZ, Origin. Also seen dire games and/or one sided games between the same sides.
Case in point, '95 World Cup. PNG v Tonga wasn't a glamour tie but the 28 all draw will live long in my memory. Seem to remember a Bately Dewsbury draw being the best Easter game a couple of years ago also.
