Looks like people are stood right upto the pitch.
I seem to remember Halifax held a 50th anniversary do in 2004 for the game, got some of the surviving players along and people who were there. |

They don't seem to be from the same game IMO.
The stripe that runs along the smaller stand isn't evident in the other , plus gaps in the crowd of both pictures don't seem to match up.
Not that it should detract from such a momentous occasion in our sports' history.

theres a book on it and all the reports definately say more than the official crowd.
i think it was even more than 120,000 as well.
the NRL got 108,000 or so for a double header and the 1999 grand final had over 100,000 too |

Surely some mistake from the biggest fan-based team in this or any other universe.
