Having played both codes my personal view is that Union is better to play, whereas League is better to watch (I just happened to enjoy playing Union more).
However, watching Union is so, so excruciatingly boring. I've been trying to get into Union. International, I don't know why is the worst to watch. Club Rugby can be interesting at times, but I can't get into a match that has no line breaks, constant dropped balls and the only points scored from penalty conversions. |
