We are notorious for losing to bottom teams.

| I reckon Wakefield’s players will have seen that Toulouse result and will be bouncing off the wall itching to play tomorrow (if they aren’t they aren’t fit to wear the shirt). Saints will be a bit patched up and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Wakefield win tomorrow.

As a Wire fan, could you please point me towards the 2 games we might win, as I'm struggling to work it out right now???

Might be Toulouse and Cas.
Another consideration is that Wigan and Saints could determine if they want the Wolves to be relegated, another couple of games and 1st and 2nd place could be resolved. Saints and Wigan could start resting players ready for the play offs and send weakened teams to the Wakey and Toulouse if those teams get points then its possible Wire might go down on points difference.

As much as the wolfs being relegated would be hilarious. It’s not going to happen. Stop panicking. Wakefield could play Rylands under 18s and will still lose. They are going down

Though I appreciate it would be amusing for followers of Saints and Wigan if Wire were to be relegated, I'd suggest from a commercial perspective, the 2 clubs themselves would prefer Wire to remain in the league from a commercial point of view, ahead of Wakefield and, especially, Toulouse?
Also from just a general spectator point of view, surely a local derby is preferable to Toulouse rocking up on a Friday night with zero supporters and a dead atmosphere?

The Toulouse home game was Wigan's biggest home attendance of the season.

It would only be for one season though, from a fans point of view they would have a bit of a break from seeing car windows smashed and away coaches being attacked. I wonder if they would stock up on brown envelopes to keep the expensive team in tact.

We’re the richest club in the league, they’ll shuffle the deck chairs to keep us up if needed.

The salary cap in the Championship is the same as in superleague. Which is why fans of clubs that don't have Warrington's cash shouldn't view relegation as an opportunity for a one year holiday to rebuild and be competitive.
Leigh and Fev won't be far off spending the salary cap (that's if they aren't at it already) between them they're stockpiling the best players outside superleague and Dan Fleming.
Though I think it'll be Toulouse that go down (their squad this season doesn't look at good as it did last year IMO).
Plus if the league ends up with a restructure winning the Championship next season won't mean anything.

Yes I know that bit, I was inferring the brown envelopes to stop the players leaving the sinking ship and being marooned on the rocks of the championship.

Thanks for the Stains obsession with Warrington, it’s good in this ever changing world that there are still some constants to hold on to.
