| Quote: Lebron James "Could have should have would have. But they didn’t . It’s all semantics. End of the day saints are in the semis and hull aren’t. I used to like hull but their tactics of kneeing a prone man in the head (a move that is even outlawed in MMA) and trying to injure our England sponsored number 1 didn’t really pay off did it.
Regards
King James'"
I give you Danny Richardson. Deserved an Oscar for getting Houghton sin binned. Not the first-time against us either.
Seemed fine 30 seconds after the incident

| Same thing happened to Jamie Shaul few minutes from the end after collecting a kick on his goal line. I do wonder if he had stayed down and made put he was in pain would it have been given as a crushed tackle. I really don't wanna see that creeping into the game but he definitely had pressure on the back of his neck.

I am sometimes critical of some of his errors and missed tackles, but the guy is a machine. You shouldn't be able to do what he does at 36 years old. It shows what is possible when you live like a true professional and put 100% into everything you do.

| Saints were treading water in the last 20 minutes...how many of their pack plus replacements are over 30?
Bet they don't want a long,hot summer & autumn.

| Fair play to Hull, a phenomenal effort and they deserved to win but their discipline cost them. We were awful and to only win by 3 points against a team who had 3 sin binnings and injuries throughout the game was disappointing. Despite that we blew about 3 tries that, on another day, we score and Green/Taylor’s try’s were very soft. One of the worst performances of the season but I have no doubts it’ll be a one off and a wake up call if anything. Almost laughed when Taia got man of the match. I haven’t yet seen the sin binnings again so I can’t comment but them aside I thought Thaler had a good game and has been very good the past few weeks. As I say Hull were great and we were terrible but the hate for Saints on here is hilarious.

God I really hope we get to play you again in the playoffs. Saints played well. The difference was you played an opposition that wasnt going to let you have it all your way, not the wet blankets you have played lately.

Actually Saints weeny awfull that’s was good as you are - problem is you’ve been overhyped and had it not been for some favourable refereeing you’d have crashed and burned. Hull were the better team and you got lucky, you’re ordinary.

I’d love to say they will get the tonking they deserve but we all know that won’t happen in a game that values style (ha ha) over content.
Hull ere exceptional today.

| Saints didn't play bad at all. It was more down to Hull getting stuck into them, nullifying the threat of Barba with some steely defence that stopped them getting their own way.
