What about the rest of the season were his season has been awful? I don't think he'll be considered for a long time until he can sort his defence out.
You've got to admit, it is poor.

In your eyes but that's only to be expected. He's been the best of the three Hull players considered so far

I don't have to admit it actually. I will admit that he's had a few poor reads but these are getting few and far between. What used to be very bad was his one on one tackling and for the latter part of this season it's being very very good.

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| The stats are poor reading for Kris Welham but he has been far from poor in defence with most of his missed tackles coming from poor reads but have rarely been costly to the team. He makes many a try saving tackle when everyone else has pretty much given up, something I think he's learnt from Briscoe over the years.
Kris used to play full back too and with him being a similar size and weight to the Aussie centres he should do pretty well in the air against their number one kicking tactic.

Again that's in your opinion. So why do you think that he is the best choice out of the three? Yeaman has scored only 4 tries less than him upto now and playing two games less. His wing partner has scored 18 too, showing he can put his winger away too. Brilliant defence compared to Welhams and it shows with Welhams 60+ missed tackles compared to Yeamos 20.

So you think Welham is the same build to the likes of Justin Hodges, Inglis (yes I know he's not in the 4N's), Idris etc?

| how about some of you go read the very first post?
we'd be better served keeping club partnerships together than chucking 4 individuals together

By the looks of it, it'll be 2 individuals as Yeamo & Briscoe will be together.

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| His pre-season stats were 185cm and 91kg but he's still growing and I think they'll be different no we're at the back end of the season. Would be interesting to see what those others have?

| Depends if he's been on the old GH which can give you a 5inch growth in height!

Inglis is 108kg and 195cm. I don't know how many times you've seen Greg Inglis, but his physique is on another level to Welham. Welham's a good attacker, but 60 missed tackles means he'll miss out.

I think it's fair to say he hasn't.
Anyway, he's still one of the best two English centres in SL, I'm happy with that.

| Quote: rollin thunder "Ryan Hall is the best winger in uk. proven not good enough. done nothing this year. don't make me laugh. 106 career tries in 116 games for leeds. 23 tries this season playing in an average Leeds side with no specialist centre inside him. he should be a shoe in for England.
'"
If you have watched Hall at international he has been ripped apart. He looked out of his depth. Time to try someone new to see if they are good enough. The likes of Ben Jones Bishop, McGilvary and Charnley come to mind.

| Still shenton and bridge for me. Tomkins and charnley are too green and would be ripped apart.
We're getting a good group of wingers together in Briscoe, jones bishop, hall and charnley with another years experience.
