| Quote Pal of Mine="Pal of Mine"Has anyone tried booking for the England V France game at the Keepmoat? I've just tried ringing and it transfers you to Ticketmaster as the superleague ticket line closes at 5pm. They don't have any information about the games and I've just spent 10 minutes waiting to be told to keep an eye on the website! No wonder people don't go.
I got an email saying the tickets are £10 to season pass holders, but when you try to book online there is no discount - I presume you have to buy through your own club?
Anyone else had any difficulties?'"
The offers don't tend to be available online - best just ringing 9-5. Might take a few minutes to get through, but stick with it.

| Quote Diavolo Rosso="Diavolo Rosso"I can live with paying £20 to watch Australia vs NZ in a couple of weeks. I wouldn't entertain the idea to watch England get beat.
The Final offer is a great one though, £10 off for each group game attended.'"
So does this mean if you go to all 3 group games the final is free?

Excellent idea.
A RL game refereed by two incompetent buffoons rather than one.
I can see it catching on.

| Have you watched the NRL this year?
Unbelievable spectacle! To be fair its not like we need two in the way they did, but many of the complaints imho stem from the fact the referee's watching three different things and by the time he's shouted MOOOOOOOOVE the advantage to an attacker winning the tackle has gone.
If we carry on with this policy over the next couple of years we're going to be seeing the bore fests of the NRL of previous.

I think the RFL would like to have the two referees, but the fact of the matter is that we don't have enough as it is.
The Four Nations will be played with just the one referee. Will be interesting to see how, if at all, it affects the NRL players.

They're better at controlling the play the ball, they'll 'get away with murder' based on what they did a few years ago in the NRL.
Its not just that, in Aus half of what they do is before they hit the floor, suspend the player in the air etc, not this niggling on the floor we see

| After being in Chelsea last night I saw posters for the upcoming Carling cup game against Bolton.
Both teams will no doubt play a 2nd team.
But they are using this game as at a discount for you to bring the kids.
at these prices
£20 Adults
£10 Kids.
Not so priccy now is International Rugby League

| Just two questions.
1- What has that got to do with rugby league?
2- What's 'priccy'?

Managed to ring at work yesterday and received tickets through post this morning -now I can't complain about that. They didn't even ask for season ticket numbers, I just said we were season ticket holders (which we are) and that was it.

Quote Catalancs="Catalancs"Not sure it's right to compare a global sport that is probaly only second behind football in terms of popularity in the country with a predominantly two county minority sport.
I doubt even the RFL would be so daft as to play an international in Bristol.
That's the idea. Who knows in two years time it could be Wales taking on Australia in Cardiff and the Kiwis at Newport.'"
Great doing a search on here for Bristol and discovering this gem after I attended the international at the Memorial Ground. This beeb report is a decent summary for the match which featured the USA vs Cook Islands, with over 7000 in attendance; www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/24758775
Being a lifelong Bristol RFC supporter I hope and think we did league a good service, and we're all quite honored down here that we were chosen - especially as our ground (a war memorial no less) is going to be demolished at the end of the season to make way for a Sainbury's.
We're not your London way posh boys which might help explain the success, the Westcountry has always been big on working class rugby - just so happens it's union instead of league.
Did anyone else from here attend?
