Friendlies generally tell us very little about the season ahead. I hope that both Rovers and KR improve dramatically over 2014, as we need this season under the new structure to be really competitive.

Hull KR's top backrower Kevin Larroyer was stretchered off in the first minute with a fractured cheekbone.
Star halfback Albert Kelly struggled against a leg injury before limping off.
Yet despite these devastating injuries while playing against a top 4 club, a lot of know-it-alls want to write off Hull KR's season in advance.

If it's a bad tear and he's out for any more than a couple of games its a big blow. Not sure where your creativity is coming from without him. Campese is an organiser, not much spark without Kelly. |
