You always get a few angst-ridden souls making a point of telling us how worried they are / how disappointed they would be / how disgraceful it would be / etc if X game was not a sellout, or if they weren't at least Y 000. In RL alone, the hypothetical "low" attendance seems to strangely attract pathological worriers.
We also have similar troubled souls who will after a game, in all earnestness, report what the "real" attendance actually was, ignoring the actual tickets actually sold or the actual number of actual people through the turnstiles. Because "they know". They "can tell" it was never any more than X000, and no way was it as much as Y000.
It's as weird as it is predictable.
