| Quote: Saddened! "Didn't Richards miss most of the season injured? Not sure how Carmont gets in ahead of Welham who is a try scoring wonder this season.'"
Come the end of the weekly rounds he'll have missed about a 3rd of the year and in terms of try scoring he's rattling his way up the charts. He's played as though he's never been away and is clearly the best winger in the league.
Briscoe would be the only contender to take his place.
As for Carmont it may be a sad truth for superleague but he's the best centre in the competition. He proved how good he was in the WCC and again in the Exiles game(when he was the best outside back on the field by a street).

| Quote: Hessle rover "I picked green because he`s played behind a beaten pack most of the season and stil been a stand out player. i dont doubt chase and his ability because he is awesome, tho he is an "off the cuff" player and more individual. ive seen green alot this year so am better placed to make judgement. and as for Galea, yeah id take him above any of your for-mentioned players.
Blake Green is a superb player and wouldn't be far off; but picking him above Rangi Chase is just over-egging it a bit.
As for Ben Gale; Great player, but not good enough to unsurp the likes of Menzies, Hoffman, Wilkin, O'Donnell and Manu on this year's form, let alone a genuine Man of Steel contender like Westwood.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| Damien Blanch IMO HAS to be in there. Incredibly under-rated.

| How anyone can leave Willie Manu out of there team is beyond me.
Easily the best Second Rower in the competition at the moment, practically carried FC all season.

Because he's not easily the best second rower in the competition at the moment.
Westwood is the best 2nd rower in the comp this year, then Menzies, then Hoffman, then O'Donnell, then maybe Manu.

Menzies?? rlhttps://www.superleague.co.uk/statistics_player?hs1
Only reason I have compared Menzies is due to him being a similar player to Manu, playing on the edge as an attacking threat. The others are more known for their defensive work. Id rather have Manu than any of the 2nd Rowers above as id prefer to see these guys running wide and attacking - Manu is 4th on tackle busts, way ahead of any other 2nd rower, which in turn has led to Yeaman and Briscoe being in the top 3 try scorers.

While Westwood may be the best work horse 2nd rower in the comp, Manu is easily the best attacking 2nd rower so far this season.
