If Manly Council had the money Mayor Jean Hay(Arko's sister) would fix up Manly Oval and they would play there.
But I agree we should be getting 20,000 though btw 30,000 might be a bit hard Brookie biggest crowd was a touch over 23,000 as it stands'" Your a manly fan?
then you should know the biggest turnout @ brooky is 27,655 against parra.

they cant leave brookie, thats part of the fabric of the nrl
its a big ground and can easily handle some good sized stands
i reckon now they are seriously pushing for an upgraded brookie funds will come
people are starting to recngnize the value of an nrl team
the next state govt is looking like its liberal so it could be your turn!

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_9857.jpg |

| Brookvale would need a huge sum spending on it to get it close to a modern stadium. I can't see the skint NSW Govt pumping in $200mill to a safe political seat can you? Manly's crowds have actually dropped in the last 5 years and are hovering around the 13k mark. How many years do you anticipate it taking them to get up to 30k?

| its a drop in the ocean and you know it. I've seen the development plans for NIB (which is already better than Brookie) and the costs and can guess at how much it would cost to get Brookie up to standard, let alone get it to a state that would make it a viable ground for the countries top competition for the next 25 years. Manly is a safe seat and hasn't been held by any major party except the Liberals for decades
ps you forgot to tell me how long till Manly crack the 30k

Jb you know as much about RL in sydney as i know about AFL in perth. lets stick to our respective areas of expertise
better still go and use google maps and google manly / brookvale and then moore park eastern suburbs and see how far apart they are
look at the map of sydney and see how many teams we have north of the bridge

16 years actually.
And it's 'Labor' not 'Labour'. Australians don't spell it with a 'U'

You would have thought an 'Australian' would know those sorts of things.
Oh Dally.
It's all too too easy
