Dean Collis (centre) signs for Wakefield from Cronulla.- Should be announced on twitter by Mr Glover in the next 10 mins.
Played over 100 NRL games for Wests and Cronulla, as well as representing the city origin team in 2007.
A very good signing IMO. 2012 will see a much improved WTW.

Kick in the teeth to the young centres who recently signed up full time contracts. The brief of developing and bringing through young prospects has fallen at the first hurdle.

They're obviously not good enough to be playing first team, with no decent quality English centres around, signings like this have to be made.
Just look where we finished this season, the young kids will get their chance. |

The young players with lots of [ipotential[/i that need good quality, experienced centres around them to learn from and improve their games. Its how the game works. Only a handful of players are gifted enough and have the right physical attributes to come into a superleague side at a young age and perform to a high standard from day one. Think you are been a bit over the top with that statement. |

Murphy and Mellars are the experienced centres at the club, this is the third. The squad has more pressing needs else ware, and to me this is a waste of an overseas spot. |
