international RL vs origin and NRL.
I agree with you in terms of here in Australia, but I think that in England the International game could be really important to grow the game there.
Putting the Ashes up for grabs in a one off game will bring quite a lot to the game and the interest would be far greater. Having said that all of that is pointless if England turn up with the same attitude as last year!

No 'we' wouldn't.
I know its hard for you to comprehend but English RL fans would prefer to see England RL play rather than two State teams from the other side of the world.
Stop being so myopic.

So you have that and a Tri Nations trophy, both in a game which is only seriously played in two or three countries in the world, not very good for a supposedly superior sporting nation is it?

| England v Australia in the 4 nations is not as appealing as Great Britain v Australia in the Ashes. The name Great Britain is Rugby League, throw in Australia and the Ashes and its Rugby League perfection.

|
| we would rather play the ANZAC test. 1 off test through the year atleast we get a good game

Maybe to you poms.
To the vast majority of Rugby League fans....england is just another team to waste a game against.
Aus vs NZ is the big draw. England....well, its like taking on PNG but with less heart.

|
|
| maybe poms could play cook islands in a playoff
