Think it was discussed but with "Super League Europe" beena big thing at the time the possibility of a SL Side springing up in Munich or wherever, they didn't want something that could offend later on,
Halifax had nothing to do with Halifax Bombers during the war anyhow,
Halifax Harriers was also mooted, but thats the name of the Local Running Club. |
