| For those watching on TV (as opposed to being at the game), what was said about the Cas infringements in the first half and Shenton being called over 3 times by the ref, yet, no team warning.
Kendall seemed reluctant to take any action other than giving the occasional penalty.
Usually, its a team warning if foul play occurs after the captain has been spoken to but, not for Cas ??

Why? Do you have the attention span of a goldfish? Can you not remember that we wouldn't have even been in front late on without the same player scoring. How can you blame it all on him for giving a penalty away at the end? You really are a complete moron.

The penalties before were minor infringements IMO - if he would have sinbinned for a dubious high shot or a minor holding down it would have looked a little ridiculous. Don't think it would have been justified

| RL fans in moaning at ref shocker!!
Jesus Christ, give it a rest man.
A very good game to watch and the game flowed pretty well making it an entertaining cxontest. Ferocious defence by both teams and some drama to boot. I'd rather watch a game like that any day then a stop start event with numerous penalties.
So 50/50 calls for sure, but I think it was even for both teams. The ref contributed to that game last night been such a good watch.
Until we get out the mindset of blaming the ref for every defeat we are at a crossroads in the direction of the game. I'd be more worried about people like arundel dropping the ball first tackle with not a hand on him or Milner getting pinged 3 times in the first half (all correct calls) as major issues not the man in the middle

| I get the reason for not giving a team warning but in contrast Wakefield last week got a team warning for only 3 consecutive minor infringements. There's so much disparity in the team warning so I can see why that would be questioned. I was suprised no team warning came based on previous team warnings handed out.
Great game was that though. And as for the drop goal it shouldn't have stood. Fifita may have been marginally offside at ptb but he wasn't called so it's play on as in many cases throughout a game. The block moving into fifita regardless of how close fifita was is a penalty. Still I'm happy with the performance vs cas. A lot of positives from that.

Read my post again you obsessed turd bucket. I do not outright blame Fafita for the defeat, I blame him for the drop goal, and it was embarrassing celebrating in front of Cas fans with five minutes left.

Think it's just annoyance at the inconsistency. Against Wire on Saturday our discipline had been fine but we gave away three penalties in a few minutes and were suddenly on a warning without the captain even been spoken to. Just a bit annoying to see a team do the same against us yet just have the captain spoken to twice.

If he is marginally offside....he is still offside so it should of been a penalty.
However, using your logic, it wasn't given so we play on. Fifita was impeded, if he hadn't of gone down softer than a footballer you might of had a point but it wasn't given so we move on again.
There was 2 small infringements in that play, you cant say in hindsight one was missed so we play on. If you are looking back on it, you should be saying... "If Fifita was onside he wouldn't of got near being blocked so its probably a fair ending to the play."

| The one ref decision which irked me the most was when BJB stole the ball 1 on 1 from Shenton I think and than had it ripped back off him by Shenton whilst Eden was tackling him making it a 2 on 1 steal which should have been a penalty to Wakefield. The thing was though Cas ended up with the ball but the ref didn't restart the set, it had to be a penalty to Wakefield or a new set of tackles for Cas because BJB had touched the ball.

| I'm not sure he was quite sure what the rules were when it comes to ball steals, there was that Shenton one then Wakey had one just before the Fifita try. It was also incredibly predictable that after a 6-2/7-2 first half penalty count it would be pretty much reversed in the 2nd...finished 8-9 with only the Finn ball steal right at the end stopping him evening it out He did the same last week, home team got the calls in the first half then the away team in the 2nd.

You can't compare the two that's an insult to the goldfish, he came home from school the other day and said that the teacher called him a cretin, our William was as chuffed as owt because he said that, that was the first time the teacher had ever given him any praise

I told your uncle alf not to come out with stuff like that cos if our William here's you he'll be be calling people it and here we are you proving me right your such a disappointment at times, you leave school this year and if you want to get on in life you've some serious growing up to do, I don't want to argue with you Willy but what's wrong with him celebrating a drop goal in front of the Cas fans choose how long there is to go.

The ref quite clearly states.."Thats three in 16 minutes, help me out" He isn't referring to minor infringements.

I've seen officials be more robust in those circumstances, so it was a bit inconsistent to see them get two warnings about a warning - but no actual warning. That said, I have no issues with the reffing of that game - there were a few errors, but they probably evened themselves out; what I was happy to see, was a cracking game of RL between two sides who in years gone by, would have been considered makeweights. High quality, lots of skill, really tough defence and some nice free flowing attacking play. To lose to Cas, in their current form, by just a DG, is a real indicator of how far Trinity have come.

Quite right Bren. I kept saying to my housemate who is a leeds fan, whenever something went our way or against us "well that's fair enough as we just got something we shouldn't 2 mins ago / that's karma as that was never a penalty." Kendall wasn't biased and I thought his decisions did even themselves up throughout the night. Wakefield have been good at home this year and I certainly didn't expect us to rock up and win easily, at 16 0 , I thought next score was huge, you go 4 scores clear you win, we score and there's always that threat we might get on a roll.
