When people talk about "Hull fans", they aren't specifying a portion.

When people say Hull fans are the worst, that is stereotyping.

Now it appears there was trouble in the Wigan end. Where are the threads about "disgraceful Wigan fans"? Where are the "Wigan fans are the worst" quotes?

One incident this year and we're the worst apparently.

When I wrote about hull fans being the worst I meant the worst that I had encountered on a number of occasions, if you took that to mean I think every hull fan in the country then you are being too sensitive, of course it's a minority of fans, and all clubs have them.

Believe me, the gents was no picnic either.

ive been following Wigan since 2005 home and away and ive always found Hull FC fans sound both at the DW and the KC (barring the chavvy little kids giving the V constantly which you get everywhere)... the only fans ive encountered in my almost 9 seasons causing trouble is Warrington.... and on several occasions too!!!

Its a fact that every time we have a few idiots let us down you lot come down like a ton of bricks on us more then anyone else. Its not being paranoid, its how it is.

I'm not backtracking at all, if you read my posts properly its quite clear I don't believe all hull fans are trouble makers I also quite clearly mention all clubs have these idiots including my own - I mearly stated that I personally have encountered more problems with certain hull fans than from any other club to the point I won't visit the KC stadium anymore, other people will have similar experiences with other clubs.

It's your idiot fans you should have the problem with, not people pointing them out on a message board.

I think it's fair to have a problem with people that stereotype is all together because of our idiots.
That doesn't mean we don't have a problem with our idiot minority.

after years of agro and abuse from them, I have to say that since they moved to the KC I haven't had an ounce of trouble with hull fans home or away. used to hate going to and coming away from the boulevard, and events of 1997 stopped a lot of Huddersfield fans from going to hull, some still wont go to this day,
every club has its idiots both hull clubs prob have slightly more than most but the last few years I've found hull fans to be spot on and certainly improved my perception of them.

I was sat near the section mentioned by the OP. There was indeed some minor bother towards the end of the game. What he fails to mention is that it was sorted out by other Hull fans in that part of the stand, and roundly booed by all the Hull fans aware of it at the time.

Got to agree, not had a problem with the FC lot for years now, had some great chat and banter over there with them in recent years.

Maybe they thought you were a vagrant and were throwing the money to you?
