As far bringing nothing to SL, we play an excellent, entertaining brand of RL (you wouldn’t understand), and are extremely stable financially, though clearly not a “rich” club.

ScouseViking may well be JonnoTheGreat's alter ego.
The both give the same unique insight into the game of RL and since their forum "disappeared" the have nowhere left to post, it's quite sad really.

As far as I'm concerned Wakey should be turfed out of SL on the basis of that total dive of a 'ground'. There's better stadiums in the lower leagues than that dump. It's an embarrassment to the sport.

Imagine being a non-RL fan and seeing that shed on tv. It would put you off the sport for life knowing someone out there allows games to be played at that hole.

Wakefield fans have rightly got the reputation as the biggest whingers in rugby league. Never beaten, only ever cheated by referees and not a top four club because of a so-called 'RFL conspiracy' against their 3rd rate club, who, incidentally, certainly have never won a World Club Challenge.

I think it's sad that these multiple account trolls are allowed to run amok.

Wakey rightly deserve their current position. This is the result of a few years foundation work on the team. Chester has done very well since we let him go, he is obviously a much better fit there. Poor old Belle Vue is hardly living up to its name but Wakey have had to work very hard to do somthing about it and not had an option to walk into a council house, sorry, stadium, that some such as our near neighbours play in.

Widnes may have a decent stadium but over the years have fritted away any opportunities they had to capitalise on it. Their team is a hopeless selection of missfits put together by Betts who should have been sacked three years ago. Widnes have been limping along for years and have ignored the signs of only just surviving for a few years. Relegation will force a rethink that will either doom the club to living outside SL or cause the owners to finally do something about the situation rather than just keep surviving in SL. Hopefully the latter as Widnes have a long and proud history.

Salford might just have enough to survive but unless the finances are resolved are likely to be in the bottom two again next year.

As for us? We've done relegation once and survived OK. I'm not sure we could bounce straight back a second time. I'm hoping we'll be fine but I've supported Rovers way too long to not be a little nervous.

With Leeds only beating Widnes in last 11 SL games and Salford result against them tonight, surely Leeds are actually MPG fodder now?
