For Catalans' survival, it has to be soon. That was a completely directionless team.
On the issue of penalties, the statistic I'm particularly interested in is not the penalties Catalans concede, but the penalties they are awarded. I have no problem with the idea that they are the least disciplined side in the competition - someone has to be. What I would struggle with more would be if it turned out that on average Catalans receive significantly or consistently fewer penalties than any other side in the competition. It would be much harder to believe that every other team just happened to have their most disciplined game when they played Catalans.
I don't know if anyone compiles data for penalties awarded, as well as conceded, though.
