That's uncalled for! For one thing you don't revel in a player's injury and for another Sinfield was not involved in any of the incidents.

Of course, reading this, you'd get the impression that the St Helens players were, to a man, angelic figures last night, the paragons of virtue.

Of course, we'll have to ignore Pryces deliberate act of deviance in the opening minutes (it's foul play, regardless of "dangerous" it is), Wellens' attempts to intimidate the referee in the first half and Wilkin's actions towards Senior (hey, an old pro like that doesn't lose his temper over nothing).

But yes, it is only big, bad, nasty Leeds that are the problem.

Anyway, it was good to see Paul Wellens at full pace last night as Graham was walking to the fans. He almost kept up with him.

Saints aren't angelic figures and will often get punished for misdemeanours. But none of those incidents mentioned by yourself are anywhere near as bad as examples such as the chicken wing tackle, Lee Smith's high shot or Brent Webb's grapple.



Kept up with Danny McGuire in a chase though.

Especially when you're already tackled.
