| Superleagues fastest player, the Welshman Regan Grace, scored a quality virtuoso length of the field try against hapless London today

The Canadian team, Toronto Wolfpack were missing at least 4 regular first team players and still beat the beaten superleague finalists of a couple of seasons ago who had a full strength team

You really think Watts, Cook, McMeeken, Smith, Blair, Moors and Foster are not part of a full strength Cas team? I count 7 there that will be in there match day 17? No Shenton or Sene Lefao after the first 20 either.

Beat me too it.
Credit to Toronto though, offloaded well and defended admirably.
We will stuff em at headingley though I'm sure.

Where is your evidence that he’s SL fastest player, I’ve seen quicker.
Tom Johnstone was miles faster pre injury whilst Caron Brown was faster still. I also reckon Ryan Hampshire is as fast as Grace and that’s just us.
We will see I suppose.

Grace clocked 36.07 KMPH last season, the fastest of any player in the league.

Also worth pointing out that Cas saw the game as an opportunity to work on fitness and contact. As such, there were no set moves and it was one-man rugby every set.
Cas also deliberately gave away seven-tackle sets to practice defending these, as well as making deliberate mistakes in their own 20 to practice try-line defence. Toronto's last try was also conceded deliberately, to give the Cas team some practice at coming from behind in the closing stages of a game.
Cas won't be giving Toronto such an easy ride when it matters..........

Deliberate mistakes in their own 20, really ??
I do admire your optimism though - Trinity have employed the "deliberate mistake" strategy for a while now and it doesn't work too well.

Well worth it to lull Toronto into a false sense of what to expect in the opening round.
Just a shame SBW wasn't playing, apparently the Cas players were going to fall to their knees as soon as he got the ball and begin to collect the blades of grass he trod on to sell on Ebay.

And fight each other at the end for the shirt swap dibs.
