Hardly a fair statement to make when you consider he was playing with an injury and not in his best position. |

Could have should have would have. But they didn’t . It’s all semantics. End of the day saints are in the semis and hull aren’t. I used to like hull but their tactics of kneeing a prone man in the head (a move that is even outlawed in MMA) and trying to injure our England sponsored number 1 didn’t really pay off did it.

Same thing happened to Jamie Shaul few minutes from the end after collecting a kick on his goal line. I do wonder if he had stayed down and made put he was in pain would it have been given as a crushed tackle. I really don't wanna see that creeping into the game but he definitely had pressure on the back of his neck.

I am sometimes critical of some of his errors and missed tackles, but the guy is a machine. You shouldn't be able to do what he does at 36 years old. It shows what is possible when you live like a true professional and put 100% into everything you do. |
