great news indeed,and lets hope that in thirty years time they will be able to field homegrown players ,rather than rely on the lads from lowly,witless,frantic and hopeless backwaters.but i very much doubt any of them will still be here in ten years. |

Well, they've fielded a homegrown player already in their inaugural season, so they've started well. I believe their aim is to have an academy set up, with help from the CRL, within 3 years. |

yes,and i do believe he has already been binned for next season.( pub gossip 0,so may be wrong.my point is all the new sides that have sprung up in the past are built on sand. |

Fantastic news from New York. Perez should be made chairman of the RFL. Hes shown more vision than the likes of Wakefield and Huddersfield combined who have both been in existence for a hundred years longer.

Can someone please explain how more North American teams will A) solve the problems particularly towards the amateur level regarding lack of teams B) how it is fair for supporters to pay for TWO trips to America plus potentially two trips to France then fork out money for internationals, cup finals etc.
