Brilliant performance by Leeds.

Posted that when we (Huddersfield) played them near the end of the season. Sadly, finals rugby is a different game, and Cas's touch rugby style was found wanting

Tigers brought there worst game to the biggest stage. Can't believe how poor they been.

The whole hardaker saga would have effected the camp no doubt. Not enough to be this bad though

Both Grand Finals were one sided but the NRL game was better.

Game tonight was pretty average quality wise.

Biggest thing Cas should learn from tonight is don't blow 150 grand on malcontents. He's massively let his team mates down tonight and he shouldn't get another chance in the sport.

Cas to be effective need fast PTB's but they couldn't get any momentum going at all. Dropping the ball so often just killed any chance of getting some set plays going.

Agree, so did I tbh. It hasn't been mentioned but wet weather's always a bit of an unknown factor to a teams performance. Leeds adapted to the conditions the better and came out worthy winners. Congratulations.

Hmmm.....maybe it's Hardaker who's more important to Cas than Gale as he may as well have been sat with me.

Castleford we're awful tonight but credit to Leeds, they know how to win the Grand Final, I guess Cas expected it to be another easy game.

I thought it was a pretty poor game overall, Cas failed to manage both the occasion and conditions. As has been said, the quality just isn't there in this league anymore maybe we need to get used to it.

Well done to Leeds, a fitting way for McGuire and Burrow to bow out from a truly champion team.

Full Back is the most important position in the Cas team. Gale works off how the defence reacts to what the FB does. But the forwards never turned up and Eden is not a Full Back in any sense of the word.

Throw in they were practicing with Hardaker until a couple of days before the game to totally ruin the game plan.

Bring back the Steeden ball too.

It was a one horse race wasn't it, far too one sided, Cas probably the worse side ever to contest a grand final. McQuire in everything he did made look Gale look like a scarecrow or"Man of Straw" perhaps.
