I've been pleasantly surprised how reserved Cas fans have been. Anyone who has watched them for a number of years, which seems to be the ones on here, know how soon the good times can turn sour. Allow us to humbly enjoy winning a few games in a style to be proud of.

Maybe on here (all 4 of you) but the ones I've seen on twitter and the Cas Forum have not been reserved at all.

Maybe don't read the Casforum then? If you're actively going out of your way onto a fans private forum then what do you expect, truly, if not a little bias? You have got a serious chip on your shoulder and I'm not entirely sure why.

It's a bizarre thing that a lot of Hull fans seem to have picked up this season, it really is odd.

On another note though - why do people on here and the media seem to think this season has come out of nowhere and is a flash in the pan? Since Powell took over Cas have finished 4th (2 points off top), 5th (7 points off top) and 5th (12 points off top, injury list so long some training sessions were cancelled due to lack of fit players). Throw in a Challenge Cup final appearance and it's obvious that the build up and strengthening of the squad has been there for all to see.

The gradual improvement of the squad over the last couple of seasons with the signings he's made (Gale, Moors, Sene-Lefao, Roberts, Hardaker etc) as well as the obviously good coaching has put Cas in the position they are in...Not luck, a "tiny pitch" or whatever other "reason" people have come up with over the last few weeks.

So I can't read it, when we have a game against Cas, there is no where else to talk to Cas fans about the game? If it's a private forum, why is it open to public viewing.

No chip, a Cas fan says that there fans have been a little reserved I say they haven't based on what I have seen, not sure what the problem is, isn't this forum there for debate and discussion?

You are having a great season, but to say your fans have been reserved if simple not true.

Powell has done a superb job building each year and has now built a side to challenge, you won't be far off this year.

But again, what do you expect on a Cas fan forum? I don't know what you want people to say to you. Of course you're gonna get fans who think we're gonna win things and that's that, but you're gonna get fans who are the opposite end of the spectrum too and think we're gonna win squat. But again I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here? What are you getting out of it, other than saying "LOOK! SEE! A FEW PEOPLE I'VE SEEN ARE OVERESTIMATING YOUR TEAM!"

So what you are saying it's ok for a Cas fan to say how suprised they are how reserved they have been, but I'm not allowed to challenge it?

It was similar last year with Hull fans getting over excited, nothing wrong with it, but we didn't deny it, like some Cas fans are trying to fo.

Do I detect a slight "Thread Drift" ?

Most of it stems from cas fans attitude in the lead up to the cup game.

Well I went to all 3 games between Hull FC and Tigers this season. The 2 games at the KC Stadium I detected something I haven't seen anywhere else this season - real antagonism and hostility towards the travelling Cas fans from the opposition. Hull had several fans ejected from the stadium due to goading and threatening behavior. Could Cas Tigers have replaced Hull KR as their nemesis for 2017?

Take it as a positive that both clubs are challenging. Behaviour isn't acceptable though, glad they were ejected

Half a dozen idiots do not represent the FC fans. And you're hardly our nemesis as we've beaten you 2 out of 3 times. You're having a great season, just enjoy it and lets hope its us and you at OT.

This just shows how different people can have different views. I also have been to all games this season and had the usual good banter with Hull fans in both home and away games, both before and after the game in both Boot Room pubs. Yes, I saw 1 person get rejected from the ground, but does 1 person really reflect the majority? We all have our idiots, including us.
